Crete Essence Villas – Lagkada is near Makrys Gialos, on the south coast of Crete. Send us your dates, the number of adults and children and the villa you are interested in, and we will reply with availability and prices.

You can also reach us directly by email or by phone; our details are at the bottom of every page. Before your arrival you can complete the registration of your party through our online check-in, so your stay starts without paperwork.

The three villas, Aeolus, Artemis and Athena, each have their own page under Accommodation, with photos, capacity, size and amenities, so you can choose the one that suits your group before you write to us.

When you write to us, it helps to mention whether you are travelling with children or need a baby cot, what time you expect to arrive, and any other request you have, so that the villa is ready for you when you arrive.

Villa Athena has three bedrooms and accommodates up to 6 guests.

Villa Artemis has four bedrooms and accommodates up to 8 guests.

Villa Aeolus has five bedrooms, each with twin beds, five en suite bathrooms and two sofa beds, and accommodates up to 12 guests.

If your group size already points towards one villa, you can mention the villa name in your message. Otherwise, simply include the number of guests together with your dates.

Tell us what you need before arrival

Children are welcome, and a baby cot and high chair are available on request. If you are travelling with a baby or young child and need either of these, include this in your message.

A rental car can also be arranged.

Pets are welcome by prior arrangement; please ask us before booking.

Check-in and practical information

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00.

Online check-in is available before arrival.

Cleaning at each villa takes place twice a week.

Each villa has its own private pool, garden, balcony and outdoor space with a terrace or patio.

Aeolus, Artemis or Athena: which to choose

Aeolus is the largest, measuring 145 m². It has five bedrooms, five en suite bathrooms, two sofa beds, two levels, a balcony and a private pool that is lit after sunset.

Artemis measures 130 m². It is a white villa with four bedrooms, a fireplace, verandas and a balcony.

Athena measures 110 m². It has three bedrooms, a fireplace, a balcony and a stone-arched patio with a dining table overlooking its private pool and garden.

Location near Makrys Gialos

The villas are located on a hillside near Makrys Gialos, in Lasithi, on the south coast of Crete.

Lagada, a small beach, is about 700 metres away on foot, while Dragon's Beach (Ammoudi), Diaskari and Lagoufa are a few minutes away by car.

Makrys Gialos and its town beach are about 10 minutes away by car.

The villas face the open sea of southern Crete, with the local hills rising behind them.
